Miracles happen:

dreams, miracles, fear, inspirational, positive thinking, encouragement Quotes

Miracles start to happen when you give as much energy to your dreams as you do to your fears.
Miracles start to happen when you are willing to give more energy to your belief in the supernatural, instead of your belief in doubt and fear of things not happening supernaturally. Everyone gets a miracle sometimes. It may not come in the form of winning the lottery, or landing a seat in the Oprah show audience to win a new car, but we all have seen some type of miracle in our life.

Things have happened that can't be explained by science of human logic, and many of us still refuse to believe. A miracle can be something as simple as having someone placed in your life that teaches you things about life that you would have never otherwise known. A miracle in your life may mean that you were given a second chance when you know you don't deserve it.

Change your focus, and you will soon change your life!

Tarot Deck for a Beginner:

If you are just starting to read tarot cards or have never done any work with the tarot, we suggest you start with the Waite-Rider deck, typically acknowledged as the easiest deck to work with for beginner magicians.

The people who created the modern tarot, all of whom were members of the Order of the Golden Dawn, designed the Waite-Rider, Morgan-Greer and Thoth decks. Arthur Edward Waite created the Waite-Rider deck (Rider was the name of the publisher) and Pamela Smith, also of the Golden Dawn, did the artwork for the cards.Lloyd Morgan and William Greer disagreed with Waite's approach, arguing that the Waite-Rider deck was too austere, too mental and too intellectual. They created the Morgan/Greer deck by adding fancy symbols, such as vines, to the top half of all the cards in the Waite-Rider deck. The Waite-Rider, Morgan-Greer and Thoth decks were created by magicians for magic. These decks, and only these decks, can be used for all three magical purposes described above. For instance the Aquarian deck is a beautiful tool for divination if you are used to working with Zen or Hindu concepts, but itís virtually useless for spell work and has no relationship at all to the Tree of Life.

Keying Your Tarot Cards

Because your tarot cards are magical tools (like the wand, athame, chalice and plate), they must be keyed. Keying is the means of personalizing magical tools for your own use. In this case, keying ties the cards not only to your own personal energies, but also to the Universe at large. This means that when you throw a tarot spread with a keyed deck, the cards not only represent elements, people and concepts in the Universe they are tied to them.
Keying is what allows tarot spells to work. Because the cards are actually linked to physical things in the Universe, when you change or re-arrange the tarot cards, you also change or re-arrange things in the physical Universe. In the progression of magical studies, the study of tarot cards comes almost at the end. This is because you need the plate, athame and sun candles to key your tarot cards. You need to have studied and practiced with these other tools before you can key your cards. While it's possible to throw tarot spreads with unkeyed tarot cards, the results will be less accurate than with keyed cards.

Prophacy through Tarot Cards and Decks:

The underlying symbology and concepts found in the Tarot go back thousands of years. For instance, in the early Christian Church, around 600 AD, the priests had little memo cards with pictures on them. The gypsies also used similar cards. The old emerald tablets in Egypt also had pictures of plates and discs. These concepts are very old but they are at the root of modern day tarot card meanings.
However, the modern Tarot is brand new, revised by the Order of the Golden Dawn to work more intimately with the Tree of Life and for spell work. It's a development of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and is, in our estimation, the major advance in magical practice within the last 2,000 years. The word Tarot is a disguised word. It was originally spelled ìRota,î which means wheel, because the deck represents all phenomenal experience, the wheel of life. We use the Tarot as a living form that is tied into the existing Universe. In essence, the Tarot is a simulacrum of the Universe.

Using Tarot as an Art Form

Because Tarot cards are such a powerful and flexible magical (or "magickal") tool, it deserves special attention. Reading tarot cards is both an art and a science. Reading tarot cards is a science because magic is a precision science, so all procedures need to be duplicatable and produce reliable results. At the same time, reading tarot cards is an art form that both requires and enhances the development of intuitive and psychic abilities. In this article, we will review all the basics of reading tarot cards.
The first thing most people want to find out is the meaning for tarot cards. Because there are so many decks out there, and so many different spreads (or ways to throw and interpret the cards), assigning a specific meaning for tarot cards, across all decks and spreads, is quite impossible. However, it is possible to develop a strong working relationship with specific decks of cards so that the meaning for tarot cards in your specific deck or decks becomes very clear. The more you work with a specific deck, the greater your connection with that deck will be. And the more accurate your readings will be. In addition, the more you practice the more you will be able to intuit the meaning for tarot cards, regardless of the deck or spread. As you will find out later in this article, tarot card meanings can become a very personal issue and are often the result of your own intuition.

Uses of Tarot Cards and Decks

Before the advent of the more modern decks that were updated by the Order of Golden Dawn, tarot cards were used primarily for divination. Divination is the art of accessing any information not directly available to the five senses. Gypsies and the Egyptians used the Tarot primarily for divination, and many modern day Gypsies continue to use their own unique decks for such purposes.
However, when the Order of the Golden dawn updated and modernized the tarot cards, they did so as magicians ñ they wanted to be able to use the tarot cards for magical purposes. The three main uses of tarot cards are:
  1. Straight divination
  2. Spell work (these decks are especially designed for spell work)
  3. Working the Tree of Life (for doing a great work)
While you can use almost any tarot cards for straight divination, only the updated decks can be used for spell work and working the Tree of Life. Tarot cards are used heavily in designing safe and effective spells (for instance, to predict the effectiveness of candle symbols and carvings, and also spell parameters, called "Directors and Limiters"). Tarot cards are also used as the primary medium for tarot spells, in which the tarot cards are actually tied to elements in the Universe and re-arranged so as to re-arrange reality in the physical universe.
Working the Tree of Life is reserved for magicians at the more advanced levels and are related to the Major Arcana cards. To read more, refer to Dion Fortune's excellent book "The Mystical Qabbalah."

markings on the fate line :

Like the other lines, the markings on the fate line let us know more about what we have in store for us. Classic markings can take on new meanings when applied to the line of destiny. A short description on timing this difficult line follows.

The fate line shows the degree to which we are successful at using our abilities and talents to realize our life's work and goals. It also records the challenges and rewards that we will meet along the way.

Typical Destiny Markings

A break in the line of destiny shows a change in job or career, and a sudden break is an unexpected change; an overlapping break means a change you controlled, so it might not have a negative outcome as an unexpected change would have. Many breaks signal many changes and the inability to take off in one direction in a career. A fate line that has many breaks, islands, and stops shows that a person has many changes of career or a series of unproductive jobs.
A short and light bar on the line is an obstacle that is short-term and may be gotten around with effort, such as a problem supervisor. If the bar is heavier than the fate line itself, it means a problem that is very disturbing to the owner of the hand. A series of bars can mean insurmountable obstacles.
A fork can suggest a change in career, or at the very least exploration of a new career path. Grille patterns with lines in both vertical and horizontal patterns can point to burdensome worries.
An island on the fate line shows trouble and frustration, dissatisfaction, or financial shortfalls. At the beginning of the fate line, an island can signify a mysterious origin, just as it can on the life line. This used to be thought of as a mark of illegitimacy or adoption, but now it is seen as a sign of some unknown influence at the beginning of life.

A cross that appears next to the fate line may represent a crisis or change, but it can also be significant of something that will effect a positive change in the person's life by calling on untapped talents. It may cause a re-examination of old beliefs and a switch to new and more effective habits.
A cross on the fate line, if seen at the beginning of the line, can show the loss of a parent early in life. A cross farther along on the line means a crisis or a change in the person's life, and this crisis will have a lasting effect on that life.
A square on the fate line shows that you are protected from a problem. It can be a warning if it occurs in midlife to give the hand's owner a chance to prepare for problems, and it can also allow the owner of the hand to take a risk, knowing that he is somewhat protected.
A triangle between the fate and the life line signifies victory in military endeavors or at least winning a major battle if the owner of the hand is a civilian.
A star on the line of destiny is a sudden shock or disturbance in the career, a sudden rise in the energy field that causes a negative situation. If it happens early on the line, this could mean a familial emergency, such as a move or loss of fortune, that took place without warning but left emotional scars.

The Shape of the Line of fate:

As with other lines, the shape and depth of the fate line is important. The heavier the line, the more independent and responsible the owner of the hand is — and the more resistant to change. A very heavy fate line can mean that the owner is stuck in too predictable a pattern.
It can also be an indication that this person pays too much attention to career goals while emotional, health, and intellectual interests are given short shrift. However, success in life is as dependent on these things as it is on hard work. Overall, though, a strong fate line is a positive thing, indicating that you are self-motivated, trustworthy, and strong. A deep line shows an ability to concentrate and an interest in the work itself.
A weak fate line shows a lack of direction and control, putting you at risk. A thin line of destiny shows a lack of commitment and stamina. And an irregular or fragmented line of destiny shows purposelessness, changeability, ill temper, and a person who is not in charge of one's own life.

Beginning Of Fate line:

For most people, the fate line begins at the base of the hand at the first rascette, or the bracelet line at the wrist, and it travels upward to the mount of Saturn. This is the traditional ending for the fate line, and those who have it have a secure sense of direction and purpose. A long and clear line can mean a career with the same company throughout life.
The closer to the wrist the fate line begins, the earlier a person will begin to develop a sense of responsibility and duty. His life circumstances may demand this, but it will serve a valuable purpose later on as his career develops.
The ideal fate line
A fate line that is long and strong signals an unusual sense of purpose and often belongs to those who go far in their careers. Such people have a strong sense of self and direction in life. However, a clear and consistent line running the length of the hand is rarer than you might think.
This is because fate lines can begin and end in a surprising number of places, and all have different meanings. In general, the closer to the rascette your line of destiny begins, the better. It means that you will learn a sense of responsibility early in life.

Family Business?

If your fate line in the mount of Venus inside the life line, it means you had help from your family when starting off in your career, or perhaps they were too influential in making your career decision. If your fate line is joined to the life line for some distance, it shows that your career perhaps began in a family business, that they contributed to your start in life, or that you are in some other way close to and indebted to them, though not in any negative way. However, where the life line and the fate line part is where you will achieve independence from your family on your career path. However, there may be light lines of attachment between the two lines that show a strong emotional bond between you and your family.

Be aware: A fate line that begins well inside the mount of Venus and the life line can mean that a person becomes enmeshed with his parents and the rest of the family and are unable to break away from their control.
If the fate line starts at the wrist and then veers to meet the life line later on, it means that your career development must be sacrificed to meet your family needs for the duration. In general, the greater the distance between the life line and the fate line, the greater the distance between the person and his family of origin, both geographically and emotionally.

Making Your Own Way

If your fate line begins near the life line but not within it, you will make your own way in life and determine your own priorities. Your success will rely on your ability to work and accomplish things for yourself with no outside influence.
If your fate line begins on the other side of the hand in the mount of Luna, which represents the social element, it means that your career will be in the public eye, as a politician or perhaps as an actor, but in some way that demands that you gain public approval in order to be considered a success. Your career might also be in the musical arts or in an area where you are dealing with the public (for instance, as a social worker); in any event, it will be in a field in which you are able to affect and influence others.

A Late Start

If your fate line does not begin until the middle of the hand in the plain of Mars, it may take you a long time to get started in life or to settle on a career and find your true calling. You will begin your career in struggle and uncertainty, but if your fate line reaches clearly to the Saturn mount, it will end in success based on lessons learned in the struggle.
An extreme example of getting a late start in life occurs when the fate line arises from the head line. This means your success will be gained through application of your intelligence and knowledge, but only later in life, as the head line lies so high up in the palm.
Sometimes a fate line arises out of a fork between the mounts of Luna and Venus, both of which influence the destiny of the person with such a line. Often, these people have a tendency to just let things happen rather than direct the course of their destiny. Worse, the duality that comes from a fork at Luna and Venus may lead to great confusion in terms of career, as work goals are continually re-examined and reevaluated. However, if the line ends at Saturn, all will be well, despite the confusion and ambivalence.
